for effective modes get a header then race pipe to kill the cats and a full exhaust that will get you started. If you want a widebody check CP Racings kit out.Thier link is at the top of the screen there.

seems a lot of widebodies still exist. check out the kent racing thread further down the page. people added links to a lot of different widebodies and where to get them. or search.

my first question is how fast is "fast" ... the phrase "on a budget" just didn't go well with the picture of that turbo ...

it all depends on your ultimate goals. you can make great power with the SE's 13B, but you will ultimately be limited when compared to using one of the later engines designed for turbocharging.

i want 2 do better than 13's or 14's because 10's i know that's out of tha budget right there

street: i don't think you'll do it without forced induction ... i prefer turbos, but the choice is yours, turbocharger vs. supercharger ... either way, the key is tuning and i'm sure it won't be the last time you hear that. i guess the important thing is that you can still use the SE's 13B. you could go with a later model 13B, but either way, i would recommend streetport and a rebuild that focuses on reliability.

race: you may be able to get away with using one of the more radical ports (bridge or peripheral) and of course, long tuning sessions!

The GSL-se was probably the best of the first gen and in some ways the best of all worlds. The size and weight of the first gen. body with the power and peformance of the bigger/stronger 13B. It a good fondation to build on. I think you could easily start with what you have now, but how many miles is on that motor?

Also FYI there's a guy selling a fist gen., complete with body kit on ebay, for a thousand dollars. It's kind of big though.

it's got 123,000 miles on it and i'd prefer all motor without forced induction

well ... i can't speak on peripheral ports because i don't have any personal experiences with building or tuning them. however, i would suggest getting your SE engine rebuilt with 12A side housing for a better breathing bridge port motor.

intake is up to you, but i like Holleys on rotaries.
