I know that in Australia they run 16v not 12v. Has any one or can it be done here in the states? at least to run my microtech...Just thinking

[/quote]I think you're very much mistaken. We run a conventional 12v electrical system just like the rest of the world does.

Never heard or seen a car run 16v. 24v yes, but only in trucks.

Still, new to me, plus you'd probably have to change alot of the wiring.
