I have a 12a and a buddy who works at a machine shop... so basically he can do either for free.. (gotta love the perks) anyway I have heard that a bridge port is only good above 8000rpm and that my low end will suffer.... so should I stick with a street port and a weber 48ida or get a bridge port with a holley double pumper...

I want my low end more than top I want acceleration more than top end... Don't get me wrong I love a great top speed but not at the cost of getting out and pushing to get it up there...

I can really only speed on the track... and I wonder how much power i will lose or gain depending on one or the other...

well the downsides to the bridgeport are: 1300-1500rpms idle, part throttle under 4000rpms it will want to buck.

power is good from 4000-10000rpms, the one i drove gets mid 20's mpg

You would think that. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png Zalaj: Theres no real way to gain low end on a rotary its just top end power gains.Thats where these engines accel. But if you looking for a daily driven power band get a large street port and the 48ida setup. You should be happy with that for awhile. :smirk:
