I have a couple of questions concerning my stock 1980 12A. (#1). I have what appears to be a fuseable link (I say appears because I have yet to see a photo of a Mazda fusible link), that is located near the starter. The wire was broken so I repaired it but would like to replace the link with a new one. The wire diagram shows the fusible link rated at 0.5F. What does the 0.5F mean? And where can I buy replacements?

(#2). I'm ready to install my engine. What should I do to insure that the engine will have proper lubrication at initial startup? Or since I've lubricated the various internal parts during the rebuild, will that will be enough until oil pressure builds up?

Thanks for your help.

1. i'm not sure what the .5F is either, but in later years they replaced those with i think a 30A fuse

2. if you wanna lube the motor, leave the fuel disconnected, and on an 81+ you crank till the oil pressure gauge moves. without that, is tricky, as the oil comes out quick and will make a mess, if say you left the oil filter off, or something

Just dump an ounce or a tad more of two stroke oil down down the primary's
