Hi everyone!

I need some information from You people. Im from Poland, there are no real rotary enthusiasts in here. I decided to put 12A or 13B mazda engine to another car and use it in sports but I gotta know whats the difference beetwen these 2 engines (naturally aspirated), weight, dimensions, photos, cause I want to put it into Fiat 126 shell https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png. What are the prices of used engines (only good condition).

Thx.

So much to tell.

For a start, its hard to give a direct price on what you want. You can buy a whole rx7 in the US with a 13B for anywhere starting at (US)$500 upwards. In Australia your looking at just the 12A (AUS)$500 to 13B (AUS)$1500. It changes depending on the currency rate, availability, etc, etc.

You say your looking at an NA engine. There isn't that much difference btween the 12A and 13B to look at. They are slighty bigger and therefore are faster. There are probably more 13B's around which make getting parts easier.

The 12a is a front mounted engine and most of the 13B's are side mounted (most) the first gen rx7's all have front mounted engines (12a and 13B).

umm, I've got a photo of my 13B turbo and 12a together if that helps any.

the big difference on the 13b vs the 12a is that its 20mm longer. the 13b's seem to be more common too.
