Well since the rest of you guys are posting up some pic's i felt it was about time that i did as well. I have a '85 GSL, when it was purchesed about 2.5 yrs ago it was completely stock. Well lets just say she isn't anymore, lol. The car came silver on the outside and had the red interior with a bone stock 12a. Well now she is still silver but i have swapped the interior for the much wanted charcoal interior. The stock 12a was removed in favor for a half bridge'd 12a with a weber 48 IDA. The stock suspension has been replaced with GSL-SE suspension. The stock rear end gears have been replaced with a set of rb 4.44's. This year we are building a 13B p-port, not sure when that will be together but i already have a factory mazda race cast intake, 1 piece carbon seals, front mount oil cooler and still need more parts. well here are some pics of her.

Sweet car, but **** man 15.4 seems a-bit on the slow side for a half bridge. I know dudes with 12a street ports and modified nikki carbs running 15.0. I'm not trying to nock your ride but a half bridge should go a bit faster than that. How is your exghaust set up? How many psi of feul are u runnin. is yor intake ports matched to your intermedieate ports. Where the mani and the irons meet. maybe your webber is out of wack, not that I know **** about about webbers personally I go holley. Dose it pull hard to 10k or does it kinda fall on its face after like 8k. my half bridge 12a made awesome power all through the rpm range especially from 6.5-10k. My car never made it to the track but but I'm pretty sure it was a smidge faster than a mid 15. just my two cents.

The weber came off a 12a streetport and I havent gone out and bought new chokes and stuff. This current engine is not staying in the car. The exhaust is **** except for the RE header, not sure who made the intake but it is port matched. The new setup that i have is a set of unported 12A irons that are having the ports filled. A beautiful set of Mazda factory 13B race P-port irons to go with the Mazda factory race intake. The weber i'm going to machine the chokes out to 42mm and then jet accordingly. I hope for at least 230+ rwhp but well see real soon.

Yeah I suppose a pp motor would be pretty sweet. I still think u should re configure your exghaust to dual 2 inch to a RB priama flow muffler. Then jet up that down draft. Its obvious that u have invested a lot of time/money/thought into your mods. Follow through on your tuneing and you'll be supprised what the 12a half-bridge can do. God luck with the pp let us know how it goes.

I agree. A bridge should do WAY better then that. My 78 with the stock nikki, massaged ports and RB exhaust, does a 15.6, a bridge should do much more then that.... unless the bridge wasn't done right (horrible flow or incomplete porting) or possibly the carb is so way out of tune that all power in the motor has been cut completely off do to choking. I have heard over and over and over that a 12a's power is in the top end, you choke that off you lost alll you could gain from the porting. But that is my 2 cents. BUT that PP will scream I am sure. What seals are you going to run again? How big is the PP? I have heard from a couple of biulders that to big of a PP takes the power band way beyond the machanical limits of the motor. Sorry for sounding like a downer, I am curious about all this stuff because i am at the point with my car that i do not think i can squeeze anymore power out of it without a turbo or port job and i am looking at where I can go from here... cheers. AND I would like a set of those emblems too
