we fitted a 83 rear to a 79 with no probs, most GSL-SE stuff bolts up and its better!

what about the driveshaft yoke did u have problems with that? bigger smaller? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif

The GSL-SE rear end is by far the flyest of all FB rear ends.. It has vented disks insted of the solids found on 81-85 GSl rear ends. Plus the disks are almost 3 inches bigger!!! They are both a bolt up swaps unless your using a drivesaft from 79-82. In 83 they switched to a larger flange on the 3rd member, But flanges are swapable also..... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif
