If I can remember correctly its 8oz of 2 stroke oil for every 15liters of gas.Its supposed to be just as good and will save your engine if the oil pump gives out on you.I might do it once this pump gives troubles.

I think thats alot of hassel just to put gas in, this car will be daily driver and dont think i wanna do that every time i gas up. I do what some performance, enough to where i know i can step on the gas and it will pull. I will ugrade the suspension though, odering all the busings from Mazdatrix. looking for sturts and shocks. Also thinking of going w/ the race spring thst mazdatrix is selling. Its a 2.5" drop. Think thats to low?

For parts to rebuild your Oil Metering Pump call Mike Lowe. He'll hook ya up with everything you need plus instructions on how to do it. I rebuilt mine and it was quite easy to do.

or you can just ask around and find someone who's switched to premix that can send you their old one... make sure it's the shaft thats leaking before you go replacing it though. there are alot of areas with potential for leaks.

thanks for the info....I already took it out to see if it was leaking and did see some fresh oil around the linkage and spring area of the shaft, did not find any leaks around the the o ring, cleaned it off and put back together and ran for awhile and did not see any leaks. should I run it longer and drive around.

I order the reseal kit from Lowes Performace and it does come with instrction on how to rebulid the OMP. It was easy to take the OMP apart and put in all the new o-rings in . It works great, just like new. It cost $21.00 for a reseal kit for my 84 -SE. Thought I was going to have to spend the $200 for the NEW OMP that I don't have. Thanks for the info Inittab. If anyone needs to rebuild the OMP, here's the link
