I have an 13b 85 gslse that will not go past 3300 rpm when in gear and under load. I think it is the secondaries not opening/not opening fully causing the problem because the secondaries are supposed to open around 3300rpm to give you the extra air needed to rap to the end of the tach, and if they dont open thats as far as she goes. The only mods are the airpump is taken off, and rb headers and presiliencer, and there is a new fuel filter, and the fuel pump gets plenty of gas to the block (ran a heavily moded 13B until the housing walls got scored).

Racing beat screwed up when they built the presilencer for the 85 13B they put the exhaust mount for it in the way of the flange to mount it to the header, so that it left a 1/4" gap in the flange. Took off the presilincer bent and grinded the bracket out of the way to where it was supposed to be in the first place. Maybe this will fix the problem, cuz i really dont want to have to wire the secondaries open. So if anyone knows of a different way to fix the secondaries without wiring them if the exhaust fix doesnt work, is greatly appreciated. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/bowdown.gif
