RX3 Coupe rear fenders/quarter panels repairs
#1
My 10a Coupe needs some serious attention to both lower rear quarter panels, specifically the rear wheel arches. Are there any repair panels or glass replacements made ANY WHERE?! I'm looking at having to get both arches fabricated from scratch atm :-/
Also, anyone know where u can get rear arch extensions as a last resort? i've just hacked off some grp wide arches to treat the rust hidden udnerneath all the filler, but if I cant get the arches repaired to my satisfaction I may have to revert back to GRP replacements :-/
Cheers,
R.

Hey 20bboy. If you can't make them you could give the demensions to http://www.alfaparts.net or even send your old ones in. They will make them for you. They are my #1 place to get steel restoration parts for my TII that im restoring.

Contact this guy. http://stores.ebay.com/rotary-products38
I have talked to him about getting a windshield for my car and he seems very nice. IIRC i remember seeing RX-3 patch quarters at one time.

While I was working those panels under the tuteledge of Dutch Comtock and Kerry Pinkerton (From Metalmeet.com) we were discussing patch panels. 98% of the commercially available panels fit so poorly that you spend as much time and effort making it fit that it is better to learn to make your own. Just my opinion.
