A friend of mine has a 1992 3000gt vr-4. I want to be able to keep up FROM A DIG... at least 1/2 a car length or so. After that hes pretty easy to reeeeeeeel in. Rite now it takes me till top of 3rd to catch and pass. So my question is- would a 18x10" rear tire be good? I really dont know squat about wheels. What size 18x10" wheel would fit? Is there a wheel/tire combo that is great for drag? Any info would be great!

Its not how wide the tire is, its what its made of.

Run some drag radials and you will probably keep up off the line a lot better.
