i am about to buy a TII rx7 88, its been rebuilt about 1400 miles ago, and it just had a T3 turbo put on with 800cc seconday injectors, fmic, 3" down pipe, and a greddy exhaust. It also has an hks fuel computer, He was driving the car back from having the turbo work done (50) miles The car started smoking and stalled out, now when he cranks the motor over the coolant becomes compressed, The first thing that came to my mind was the coolant seal. Does this sound like the problem, i need your help asap. Thanks

It could also be the o-ring in the lower intake manifold having been sheared, dumping water into the intake tract. Are you certain the coolant in the system is being compressed? What does it smell like and look like? Is it being shot out of the overflow tank with force?
