Hello boys and girls. just wanted to boast a bit about the race weekend we just had at Road America. this past weekend RA was host to the SCCA June Sprints. i am coowner and mechanic for R&S Sport Tuning and also am crew chief on the #17 blue yellow second gen rx7 in E Production. R&S had 2 second gen 7s in E Prod this past weekend one of them has one of my built street port motors in it ( #52 blue white , driver Jeff J-DUB Willert ) . The 52 qualified 10th and the 17 was positioned on grid in 11 before the untimely passing of a truly great man Tom Thrash. more on him later. the field was 95 cars deep with 25 starting E Prod. the race its self was awsome, a friend of owers , Rob Hummel #80 first gen took 4th in E Prod the #52 was 5th and Steve Smyzic placing 6th. all in all a great victory for R&S and Steve J-DUB and myself with a feild as large as the one on saturday. randy
