My girlfriend Krissy is going to do a dog walk for charity for the

American Cancer Society. There is a link at the bottom of this page with

more info.

This event will be held in Riverside Park, New York City, there

are 3000 doggies and thier owners expected to participate!

Now being a animal fanatic and someone who always helps others,

Krissy will be walking with Dino in this event.

I know cash is tight for alot of people, but if you could find it in your hearts

to donate even $1 towards this, it would be greatly appreciated. The response towards the manatees gave us the idea to maybe throw a link up

where you can donate money and it goes directly to the American Cancer

Society. You are not sending her or myself the money, the money goes right to them, you can pay with credit card. Once again, let me say that this money doesnt reach our hands, so your money is safe.

At the top of the page in this link:Doggie walk for cancer. is a area that says "SPONSOR ME", click on that and donate what you can, dont be intimidated by the $50 donations, they are from family members and what not. She just started this a day ago, so give what you can and help others.

Thank you!

Apparently Dino won some contest for his pic ( again, lol ) and the

prize was a $50 donation towards the event, yay Dino!

Not sure when it will show up in the donation roster.

i donated, its a damn good cause. I will prolly get one up in the next few months for the NW Kidney Center, seeing as I have a bunk kidney and my father has a transplant it is one charity near and dear to my heart, plus 100% of the money goes to the kidney center, no passing the buck, seriously you should see the place, they got no cheifs, just indians and a ton of volunteers.

apparently there was a error in the way they set up the website and

it only takes donations for $25 or more.

This isnt the way it was supposed to be.

We are trying to get it cleared up with the webmaster, if anyone wants

to send a check or money order made out to the American Cancer Society

drop me a PM, again thank you and sorry about the error on the website.

You can see by the donation roster that quite a few people donated less

then $25 by check made to the American Cancer Society. One old guy

dontated $2.

And a big thanks to Scott for donating $50!

Here is the response from the American Cancer Society about

the donations:

Dear Kristen-

I just tried to call you, but do not have a day time number. I apologize for the confusion regarding donations. While we are grateful to receive donations of any amount, we are unable to process donations of less than $25 on-line. This minimum is instituted as a way to ensure that generous donations of all size go to the cause instead of getting eaten up by administrative fees. If an individual would like to donate less than $25, please ask them to do so with Cash, or with a check made payable to American Cancer Society/Dogswalk 2003. All donations received off-line will be collected during check in on Sunday, May 4th, 2003.

Please let me know if you have any further questions, and again, I am very sorry for the confusion!
