Interested in rotary aviation usage
Hello, No-Pistons members:
My name is Chad. I am very interested in properties which make rotary engines ideal for small to medium sized aircraft (but i won't lie, there's something special about an FD RX-7) such as their high power to weight ratio and few moving parts to keep service costs down. I am currently working on getting a pilots license but my wife will most likely let me get an RX-7 before a Cessna 402 so i'd like to discuss which ones to look for and ways of making it more fun to drive when i finally find the right one, and also how to care for it so i can enjoy it for years to come.
I am and have always been very fascinated with mechanical things and unusual solutions to problems, and for me a rotary engine fits into both categories. I look forward to meeting the members here, getting good advice, making some friends, and maybe letting someone talk me into dropping a 20B into the family Stratus sedan just because.

Welcome Chad .You cant go wrong with an FD rx7 they are great cars . only falt is the twin turbos, I replace them with a gt35 single turbo and they improve the car so much, an extra 80 hp at wheels smoother power and less fuel consumed It's a win win situation . you can even use your factory computer with this setup
