Default G'day rotorheads from Oz

Hi all. I'm a long time lurker of this quality forum, so I thought it's about time I pull my finger out and finally become a member! I particularly enjoy and admire the knowledge and tech threads by Lynn and Judge Ito.

I've worked as a tech in Ford dealerships for the past 15 years, however rotary's have always been my true love. My heart still skips a beat whenever I see one drive past!

I owned a 2nd gen turbo rx7 for 13 years, but reluctantly sold it as I had it tucked away in storage for the last 4 years and thought it was time to move it on. I Always planned on building a big HP engine for it, but it was never going to be what I've always wanted. An old-school rotor.

I recently bought a rx808 sedan. It's a freshly painted rolling shell, minus the running gear. Has steel 12a nosecone, new bumpers, front fenders and is a nice straight car. I bought a rx4 13b with R5,R,R5 irons. I've pulled it down to start the build, but the rotor housings are stuffed, so I'm currently putting cash away for new ones. Going to be a bridgeport, yet to decide on an IDA weber or injection?

Of course the ultimate would be a genuine rx3 coupe. But in this country
Trying to find a clean, unmolested one is near impossible. Let alone having to sell a kidney or second mortgage the house to fund one (Which I would happily do, don't think the wife would agree).

Anyway, thanks for having me. Looking forward to spending more time on Nopistons.

Cheers, Matt.
