Got 3 months of Gamefly as a gift. First up, Syrim and Uncharted 3

Skyrim is stupid. Edna (my wife) was playing it and said, "I feel like I should be 17, and have *****" and went on to discuss that this must be played by people who are very, very lonely, and have lots of time on their hands. Just running around not knowing what you're supposed to be doing gets old pretty fast. She said it was just like World of Warcraft.
Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception
I was told this was good, but I haven't played the other Uncharted games. It's so much fun. I doubt it has any replayability once completed, but I guess that's what Gamefly is for. I was up till 4:00 playing it (and had to get up at 6:30). Not really challenging, but I'm playing on "very easy" setting. Either way, it's just a lot of fun. Lots of cut scenes, but I like them, it's almost like a mashup of Choose Your Own Adventure books, but a movie version, and the movie is an awesome Indiana Jones movie I've never seen. I can't wait to get home and play it some more.

Round 2, Jane's Advanced Strike Fighters (I wanted some sort of flying game) on PS3, and Mario Galaxy for the Wii.
I played JASF for a few minute, and immediately packaged it up and put it in the mail box. What a waste of a game.
My older son (almost 10 y/o) loves Mario Galaxy, and has been playing it every chance he gets. I watched some of it, I like the puzzles and such, it looks like fun. He wants to buy it, maybe I'll hunt around for a used copy.

I didn't like Skyrim much, but I thought morrowind and oblivion were much better.
I seriously enjoyed Mass Effect 2, Dragon age (the first one), and Neverwinter Nights (the first one also).
For shooters, Try out Crysis.

I've been playing Assassin's Creed Revelations. I hadn't played any of the other AC games, but it's a lot of fun. The fighting can be frustrating at times, maybe I just suck at it, but that's the only complaint I have with the game.

Skrim is an rpg so you have to be really into finding everything in order to enjoy it. You talk to people to get missions and things to do. Fallout 3 is a great rpg and I have over 110 hours. Its,my second playthrough and I put 120 hours into the first playthrough. Favorite shooter: deadspace series, specifically deadspace 2
