Anyone playing? The beta is on PS3 right now, it's only one map and one game mode, but the graphics are f'n awesome. It frustrates the **** out of me which is usually a sign I will like the game and continue to play.

Couple of things, if you are a spray and pray kind of person and you just hold down the trigger and go to town you will end up hitting nothing. The other thing i like is that you can actually shoot people in the back. Seems like too many of the shooters allow you to turn around and kill the person shooting at you.

I've been playing on PS3. I like it, but I'm going to have to change my play style a lot to actually enjoy it. Right now (barely rank 2) I'm lucky to get 4 kills, but usually get killed 15 or more times.

I've found that, even though there's no specific function for ducking behind cover (like GoW and other games), this is a very cover-based game (at least on the current map). Running in the open, even for a bit, just gets me killed immediately.

I'm eager to try out the bigger maps with conquest and vehicles.

Yea the game requires a little tactical thought. I've been finishing in the top 3 on my team every time, but that is with maybe 10 kills and 15 deaths LOL So it's not just you and I struggling. The hit detection is the best of any game I have played thus far, however the current map in the beginning is a snipers dream (i don't have the patience for sniping). I've found the guns are very different. On assault the a k74 is useless if you try at any range, it bounce all over the place, however the 446 or whatever it is you get at a higher level is quite good. the m16a3 on the other side is a pretty decent gun. I think as we open up more weapons things will become more sporting. To some degree I wish these games would give both sides the same guns and open them all up at the same time, but I know they want to give you something to play for. I've picked up several guns off of people i've killed and went on a 5 kill streak... thats enough to **** you off because you know it's the **** *** gun you are using and not your horrible hand-eye coordination!!

I didn't know I could pick up dead guy guns, but I've never tried.

Also, is there an enemy spotting function like in the previous game? I remember scanning through a scope, mashing a button, and a red icon would appear over their head so teammates could see them. I loved that.

Havent checked out the beta yet but I have it pre-ordered for PC. Pretty stoked. I always enjoyed the Battlefield series more than the CoD games. CoD=geared toward ADHD children.
