Any reason to keep this thing around? It's like a long white straw, I'm assuming it's a diffuser of some kind, that sits in the engine oil dipstick tube. it makes things a pain in the ass since it gets caught on the dipstick and comes up every time I check the oil. I also noticed that it makes accurately checking oil levels difficult, since it tends to coat the last 6" or so in oil.
Just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this thing.
