ok, this is how i perform my compression tests. anyone and everyone chime in with you thoughts...
1. First of all you should cut fuel supply to the engine(I never did, the closest i came to that was removing the engine fuse from under the dash)
2. Remove the plug wires.
3. Remove spark plug T1 and crank the engine for like 3 sec.
4. Replace spark plug T1, and remove spark plug T2 and crank the engine.
5. Replace spark plug T2 and wires.
When the engine was being crank you should have heard bursts of air.
PHEESH, PHEESH, PHEESH, the rotor has good compression.
PHEESH, pheesh, PHEESH, no compression on one of the sides. Usually a bad apex seal.
pheesh, pheesh, PHEESH, no compression an 2 sides. Ive heard this nay be due to bad oil rings, but dont quote me on that.
pheesh, pheesh, pheesh is what i got the last time i did this on my car. Ill let you guys know what was wrong as soon aas it gets open.
It all comes down to 3 consecutive loud noises is good. Anything less than that, is not.
