hi as u can see im new to the boards and i would like some help of u rotary pros in here. ok well i have a 75 Chevy LUV i want to conver to rotary i would like to know some of ur inputs. and why rotary because i love the way it sounds and ofcorse the rpm! and also i would like to kick some honda butt!. so please help a brother out. and also please dont bomb me i know its not a mazda or a rotary but would like to be part of the family :) also what engine should i go for? 13b? thanks guys

ohh yeah i forgot to say stock these trucks come with a crappy isuzu engine with 4speed trans. so for it has a 20R engine with 5speed trans.

Yeah go with the 13b. What level of performance are you looking for? You can go n/a or turbo......I personally would go turbo becuz im just sick and twisted like that....... :D Theres basically a lot of ways to go with it, it just depends on what you are looking for and also the budget you are willing to go with. Thats a nice project youve decided to take on good luck with it.

I recommend a turbocharged series 4 (86 through 88) or series 5 (89 through 91) 4-port turbo block. Use this with an aftermarket EFI system and you'll make some good power out of this thing (over 250 to the wheels on pump gas).

Start with a stock turbo motor, like a series 5 motor and keep it stock for now.
Get use to the car and the motor first then start building her up. If you go to hard with a strong motor now you'll lose her on rainny days, no weight at the back.

I'm sure it's a 2000cc motor made by toyota. Our ute all have 2 litre toyota motors

thanks guys well i guess i can go with a regular 5series 13b also should i change my rear axle? if so to what? and a 20R is a old Toyota engine that came with the old toyota trucks, celicas, and some corolas back in the 70s and late 80s
