That is a interesting comment you made about tunning a 6 port vs a 4 port motor. I have been boosting a 86 n/a motor for the last 9 months with a T3 60-1 at 19-21 psi with good resutls I feel. 11.61et at 124.89mph with 1.89 60 foot. 400rwhp. car weighs 2720lbs. For the last month I have since changed my set up to a T4 T66 .96a/r p-trim, 86 turboII motor with large street ports and small bridge on the the secoundaries. 23psi. This set up seems slower and less responsive. Yes the higher rpm range is nice but the trottle response is not the same. My ET times seem to be the same but my mph is down a few.12.01et at 123mph with a 2.05 60 foot. No I did not clearance everything inside, did use the atkins two peice seals. Shifting at 7500rpm's. A/F ratio is a little richer, egt temps are 50-100f deg lower. Timing, air temp and water temp are the same. Any advise would be thankful. sorry to ask questions on some elses post.
