(nismo convert @ Nov 19 2005, 02:42 PM) Mercedes Benz AMG CLK 500? AMG...yes CLK...yes 500...nope (onereven7 @ Nov 19 2005, 02:49 PM) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) i read an article on that car it never was offerd in the u.s its a dtm race version You are correct. Its a CLK DTM. There are 4 or 5 in the country now, thanks to some people I know. This one is number 21/100 I think. I know they only made 100. Cost about $325,000. 575hp. BADASS. I'd take this thing over a SLR anyday. Its more rare, just as fast, and is alot more driveble. The sound is fucking incredible. |

Mark Well they took out the back seats and lost alot of weight everywhere else. I guess they figure you still need some creature comforts. |

This is a street version of the real DTM race car. It is insanely fast, and could easily be tracked. I have no idea if this one will be though

Dude, when you drive something that powerful you don't give a fuck if it is automatic.
I have never seen one of course, the rarest thing I have seen is a fast civic. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) |

There are only a few made, like max 50 or something. Go figger when you need replacemant parts for it. To bad these kind of cars are always to exclusive to actually drive it. These will end up either in someones collection and will never be driven (sad) or with someones who lacks the value of money and take it to the wall the first corner he goes into at the track..
Good luck to the owner keeping it together |

Good luck to the owner keeping it together whats going to break that you'll need parts for? Im sure mercedes didn't design braking systems, transmissions, motor parts that ONLY are used with this car... Just because 50 were made doesn't mean you can pull mercedes parts from other places. If you can *afford* it in the first place, im damn sure that mercedes will give you a replacement of whatever you want, and could easily afford it. I can honestly say I don't like the wheels though This post has been edited by nopistons94: Nov 21 2005, 12:25 PM |
