as some of you know i have moved to arizona for school. i had to leave my car at home along with lot's of money in parts locked in it. sad to say it's time to start paying bills and i need my car down here. i've been shopping around for a reasonable deal but was wondering if any of you had any input on the subject. aka a stupid cheap hookup... doesn't exist unless you get a truck and a trailer and get it yourself then you still pay for gas

The cheapest way to have a professional company move a car or cars would be to rent out the whole truck (10 cars), that leaves each car on the truck costing about $400 one way. To ship 1 car in an enclosed trailer 3000 miles is a little as $1000 and as much as $5000 depending on the company. The only other option I know of would be to rent a truck and trailer and tow it there yourself, but then you are stuck with a truck and a trailer that will have to be returned.

pay some one you know to drive it down, and pay them to either fly or take abus back
works better with 2 people for shift driving
