the hobbs arrived

Had to order a clock that had broken for one of our planes. UPS dropped the box off today and I quickly opened it in excitement. They didn't send a clock though, but rather a brand new hobbs meter! Turns out the clock just needed a battery replaced, who knew.

I finally figured it out

Phinsup is a fucking modern day pirate. The guy has a ship, an arsenal the size of a small to medium sized army, and I think I read in one of his blogs he has gold bars for currency.

The latest story

So I have a new flight student. I was told he was rich and in government. I meet the guy today and we ended up spending the day together going over his flying and what not. Interesting guy, has several businesses, some which trade on nasdaq, and he's going to Washington at the end of the month so his flying is top priority. Oh his plane he just bought arrives on Tuesday so I'm pretty excited about a G1000 GPS I get to play with. Well longer story shorter I've been trying to get hired by homeland security as a customs and homeland security pilot. Good money, government job, benefits, ect.... I've applied months ago but haven't heard a word and figured I won't ever. So me and this guy are out flying around and a border patrol super cub lands at our airport and I say something along the lines of, oh cool a super cub that flies for border patrol, I've been trying to get hired by them. He says, well you're talking to the right guy. Oh really? Yeah I work for the Governor of Arizona, who just got appointed by Obama to be the new head of homeland security, which is why I'm going to Washington. Oh and this is her calling now....

I thought I'd do a google search on the guy too cause its makes the story even better if you read this guys history.
