So my brother is visiting and we went to this place: http://www.gforcekarts.com/
What a blast! We drove three races in about an hour. He consistently kicked my butt, but it was still fun. I think my fast lap was like 27 seconds. As I'm leaving, I'm wondering why my back is stinging. Turns out I have a big red spot where my shirt rubbed the skin off my lower back. Good fun! I wanna do it again!

So, lately I am amazed at the absolutely depressing tone of economic news lately. We know it's bad, but the press is presenting the news with a giant helping of gloom and doom, with a tad of dark foreboding sprinkled in. What do you want to bet that right after the election, which will be an Obama landslide by the way, the tone takes a 180 degree turn to the positive and we start hearing that "the worst is over" and "there's a light at the end of the tunnel."?
