So, lately I am amazed at the absolutely depressing tone of economic news lately. We know it's bad, but the press is presenting the news with a giant helping of gloom and doom, with a tad of dark foreboding sprinkled in. What do you want to bet that right after the election, which will be an Obama landslide by the way, the tone takes a 180 degree turn to the positive and we start hearing that "the worst is over" and "there's a light at the end of the tunnel."?

So I went to BJ's wholesale club today and spent $200 on toilet paper and paper towels. As I was sitting eating a slice of pizza with my 3-year old son, I observed that almost everyone that walked past was overweight! Some were ugly, and some were hugely overweight.
Why should I have to put up with this? Can't I see attractive young ladies during my lunch? WTF?

So, I saw my chiropractor again today. I see him once every 3 weeks. He adjusted my neck, as he usually does, and observed it was somewhat out of alignment. I told him I was sure it was, since I had been watching TV in bed more than usual lately.
This brings me to my question: Is it possible to mount an LCD television to the ceiling, such that it could be viewed whilst lying in bed? To me it would seem that the answer is obviously yes, but I was interested in hearing what the resident experts here might say about such an installation. Please discuss freely.

This is a touching story about how the poor executives at Lehman were given the boot. Now it's soup kitchens and unemployment lines for them. How sad!
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081006/ap_on_...meltdown_lehman "Days from becoming the largest bankruptcy in U.S. history, Lehman Brothers steered millions to departing executives even while pleading for a federal rescue, Congress was told Monday."

There's been so much talk about trivial events in the news lately like the upcoming presidential election and the imminent collapse of the world's largest economy, that there is a chance that some of you have missed the stories about the world's smallest man meeting the woman with the world's longest legs.
Behold!
