Here is my FC3S engine setup

-13b Street ported

-Hks T51s turbine with hks cast manifold

-greddy type c wastegate

-fmic 3 core blitz intercooler

-hurley 2mm seals

-sold corner seal with fd springs

-haltech e6k

-550cc pri , 1600cc sec .

Max hp 341ps

Running on 0.8bar ( 11.2psi )

Can you guys look on the A/F on the dyno ?

It turns lean up to 14.0:1 before the secondary kicks in ,

Please advice , Thank you

I think you need to look at the injector staging a little closer. 550's are really small. Even with my TDO6 I see injector percentages of 45-47% before 3500RPM with 550's.

You might have better luck with using 4 smaller injectors rather than having those 1600's come on. That would make it easier to stage and give a smoother torque curve.....IMO.

550/1600 is a COMMON haltech injector sizing. i had no problem with but yes you need tuning!!!! turn down the staging bar!

also, that t51 is a rather large from turbo to be cutting off at the rpm so early. I dunno what your engine is built for, but as you can see the torque curve was rising pretty steeply still, that and 11psi is nothing for a turbo that size.

Yes Vosko I know that is COMMON sizing and what I meant was that maybe he should adjust the staging so they come on a little earlier. I am not all that experienced with Haltech.

In respect to 550/1600 sizing that is not too common in Japan and from what I have been shown it is EASIER to setup using injectors that are closer in size. Not that 550/1600 and other combination wont or don't work because it can be done and is being done alot but I personally think 1600's are just too big.

Yeah it is interesting to see how people do different stuff. Basically the thinking here is use the smallest injectors possible to meet your goals. I don't 100% agree with that but I do see problems when you make the transfer from small injectors in the primary to large ones in the secondaries.........even though the Power FC makes it easy.

Lots of guys use 550/800 here to make 370-380hp though. And most FD's run 4 850's and get as high as 450hp with that.

the staging might need to be moved lower in the load index, but maybe your map is just not right... What does your map look like around the staging area? Are you maxing the primaries @ the staging point or is your map just too lean in that area?

Hello all

Thanks Vosko , ranzo & pengaru for all the reply

Well i have start up the engine the Hitman Maps ,

All runing well ... but when staging the feels like miss and the engine doesnt makes power , I end up to let a pro tuner handles the maps again , This time it when up in the dyno , He advice to move up the staging to " bar 15 " , Well i have to agree with his idea because he did tune a FD with with good result ,

This is what i Feel , Moving the staging point to bar 15 is too high , since the tuner is a pro , i just let him handles , because the injectory duty for 550cc might be max out !! , so before the staging point it leans up ,

as you can see the A/f on the dyno chart are not smooth , could the problem in the wide band A/f in the dyno might be unstable ,

I;m not very sure if they are safe , but just share some info here see if you guys can help .

Ranzo

I plan to put up Two Sard 1000cc injector to the secondary , But most ppl using haltech give good result using 1600cc's .

Thank you

kkt
