13b Cosmo

I looked at the turbos today. They are smaller, and the exhaust port opening of the turbos are actually smaller than the 13B REW, but that just means that the width of the metal surrounding the opening is thicker. This leads me to believe that the system would lose boost more slowly when de-accelerating. Wouldn't that also mean that the wastegate would be less susceptible to heat cracking that the 13B?

I believe I am one of the first (to my knowledge) that has done the swap (RE manifolds with REW exhaust housings and ported FD primary/secondary ports port matched).
No numbers with the street port but I will be going T88/Bridgeport in the near future (3 ~ 4 Months).
