Good **** Van, thanks for the pretty side by side shots.

Now find me all that **** and send me a bill.

You forgot to mention that all those parts will polish up quite nicely.

I'll proly have it all done within the next month. Gotta concentrate on some other things, but I think I can get it all to work just fine.

how hard would it be to just swap in a 13b cosmo complete engine, what is the hp/torque and weight on it.

also how much better is it than the normal 13b?

Motor mounts are different for one thing.

Only real differences between the two engine's (13B-RE Cosmo vs. 13B-REW FD3S) would be the intake port size and the exhaust port size. Intake is slightly larger than FD, but the exhaust port is heavily restricted. They did this to create more torque for the engine.

The motor mounts and the oil pan are also different.

The intake manifold swap is EASY guys. The hard part is the throttle cable, tapping the new air intake temp sensor, redoing the TPS so that it's within specs and the throttle body elbow intercooler piping. Proly 4 hours at the most...A 13B-REW to RE swap would proly take MUCH longer than 4 hrs.

The Cosmo UIM just looks bad ***. Might have to put it on the list of things to do. Isn't the 13B RE a good swap for a 2nd gen???
