Man, go get new plugs ($25-$30) and a new O2 sensor ($35), and try that. You might have a vacuum leak, get a can or two of carb cleaner, and spray around your intake manifolds, and vac lines. Do this when the car is running, and if your idle changes when you spray an area, there is a vacuum leak. Just be carefull not to spray it anywhere that it might catch fire (exhaust manifold, ect.).

Rebuild kits range from $300 to $800+, it all depends on what all you want/need to replace.

Don't worry about O2 sensor, it does **** with how the car runs. What's wrong with the car? compression test?
