Gauge Cluster

Anyone removed it? Is it any more difficult than any other gauge cluster? I am thinking about doing some white indiglo gauges.

super easy. you take off the metre hood (5 screws, be careful with the bottome two), and then there are 4 screws holding the cluster into the dash. you have to wiggle it to one side to get the speedo cable off and then 3 connectors, and thats it

What about all the switches, do they come off with the hood?

I was thinking about smoothing and painting the surround around the gauges but dont want to get into a whole big ordeal.

they come off with the metre hood. its about another 5-10 minutes to get all the switches out

Ah, im more worried about having to gorrila the thing to get them all back on and scratching my work.



I have to do something to the car this year, Im thinking of changing the Borlas and putting the RB ones on, but I hear they are different then they used to be?

yah the rb fc stuff is now made in the usa, not japan. the quality still seems good though
