Well I had gotten most of the motor put together and noticed some warping on the surface of the epitrochoid, this was from my first RX7 that the motor blew, so I found another that was, well, useable. I got that put in and now I have a mostly complete motor. I still need to do some touch up on the paint, but check out the color.

I also ordered the Exedy stage I clutch as I figured it would be a good idea to upgrade that while the motor was already out.

My engine is done, minus the clutch which will be on this weekend, so I will be dropping it in on 18-20 of this month. I have put $2000 into this motor, so I hope (fingers crossed) it goes well.

The swap went fairly well with a couple minor issues and one holy christ why did I do that issue. The major issue being, I used an airequipt fitting for my heater hose on my housing and it did not tap correctly so I decided to use some liquid steel to finish the seal. I started it up and wouldn't you know it didn't leak, but the hose itself did. So I took the hose off and capped it.

I also took the oil cooler off my Rx4 and (kind of) mounted to the front with zip ties, need to fab up some brackets, since I removed the heat exchanger. My father gave me an early birthday present in the form of wheel studs and nuts so I was able to put 1/4" wheel spacers on as well.

I will tune the carb after the motor is broken in. I will also post some pics in a week or so.
